In the game you, as well as the other Dodos on dinosaurs, have to go around a track, but during the game you have the option to throw bananas, throw with dodo eggs or make a meteor fall on the other players, in order to get the others to their knees. But remember, the others can do the same to you! It comes with 2 double-sided player boards, so there are 4 tracks to play on in total. The game can be played by up to 6 players in the normal version, but Derby mode allows you to play in teams and a total of 8 players.

My family loves dinosaurs so Dodos Riding Dinos was a game night hit in our house. It has rules that are easy to grasp, incorporated dexterity and player interaction into the play, and just provided an overall fun time. It incorporates strategy in the use of card decks but also the luck of the roll of the die or the toss of one of the hazard items also adds some entertaining randomness to a game’s outcome.
