During the game you have the opportunity to develop the abilities of your rangers, save the wildlife and try to become the best guardian of the forest.
The Forest Guardian is based on the small but mountainous island of Taiwan. The island has over 200 mountains at an altitude of 3000 meters. The game also includes the natural wonders of Taiwan such as Chianming Lake. In addition to having many mountains, 60% of the island is also covered by forests.
In the game, your goal is getting the most points by planting trees and helping wildlife, but beware of forest fires and illegal loggers. Can you help the wildlife and replant enough trees to become the best ranger?

For me, personally, I rank this game a 7. I wouldn’t suggest this game, but if someone wanted to play it, I would gladly say yes. If there were a kid at the table though, I would easily suggest this game before most of the games in my collection, which has now escaped its confinement from the Kallax. – @EvilPanda BGG (link)
